I absolutely love this Ik#a commercial. It reflects exactly how I feel about the home....for all the amazingness that it is, wether it's an appartment, a condo or a bungalow, home is a palace. It's the place of favorite napping spots, secret hideouts. It's the place you can't wait to get back to, no matter where you've been. Home is always happy to see you. It's where you can act silly and laugh your pants off...even cry your heart out. The home grabs us, holds us and comforts us...it's the best place in the entire world.
We moved into our new house in May 2011. Although we made it ours by choosing every little detail about it (even choosing the color and shape of our door knobs!!!), I plan on spending the next year making it our home.
So on this page, I will be sharing how I will be making our house a home, one room at a time.
